Hello everyone,
I have been using Fess for a while now and have been impressed with its capabilities. However, as the volume of indexed data grows, I have noticed that search performance can slow down a bit. I am looking for some advice on best practices to keep the search performance optimized, especially when handling large datasets.
Here are a few things I am considering ::-
- Tuning Elasticsearch settings: Are there specific configurations in Elasticsearch that can help speed things up without compromising the search quality: ??
- Efficient crawling strategies: How can I optimize crawling to avoid unnecessary overhead while ensuring that all relevant content is indexed promptly: ??
- Hardware considerations: What kind of hardware upgrades (like RAM, CPU) have made the most difference for you in speeding up searches: ??
I would love to hear your insights or any documentation that could point me in the right direction. When I searched on the forum for solution to my query, I found this thread https://discuss.codelibs.org/t/config-optimisations-and-tweaks-for-speed-azure-admin/ but couldn’t find any solution.
Thanks in advance for your help !!
With Regards,
Derek Theler
