In many cases, this error occurs when elasticsearch configuration is not correct.
It’s better to check elasticsearch.log.

Thank you for your answer.
There is no exception in elasticsearch log.
I have upload elasticsearch log and plugin info.
Look forward to your answer

Did you check all log files in your cluster?

Thanks a lot.
There are exceptions in one Node’log.

It does not seems to be a problem from Fess…
Does your cluster work without Fess?
It’s better to try a single node cluster first.

Thank u for response.
I set up a new ES service, single node. Installed with RPM package v5.5.0 on Centos 7.
FESS service also reinstalled with RPM package v11.3.
Configuration was all done.
The Fess on this new server can be started.
But ES’s health is red.
Shards of [.configsync] is unassigned.
I tried to reroute it, but not work.
Can I delete this index?

(from github.com/marevol)
Indices will be recreated if deleting all indices for Fess.

I have deleted unassigned index in single node cluster.
Everything seems OK now.
When I turn back to Multi-node cluster, I found many unassigned indices.
How this happened?
What could I do to recovery my FESS without DELETE indices?
Thank you again.

I do not think it’s a problem on Fess…
It’s better to check elasticsearch configurations.
