i setup fess. i start a crawler for a chinese language website.
after a while, i open search UI to test fess.
i found it search number , english is good.
but it show very bad result for chinese language.
i can see a chinese word in web site, fess can not search it .
it try many different chinese words. i see the similar result. do you have some solution ?
Fess supports CJK characters, and it works as a bi-gram.
You can check the content field to check if a text is crawled in Admin Search page.
